THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the word of God. It is a gift to us so that we can learn who God is and what He wants from us. Therefore, we take it seriously and literarily.
GOD
We believe that the Bible teaches that there is only one God. We believe that God has manifested Himself in three ways: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. The Father is completely God, Jesus is completely God and the Holy Spirit is completely God.
CREATION
We believe the Biblical account of Creation. In the beginning God created all things including man. All creation was then created perfect and sinless.
SIN
We believe that the Bible teaches that sin entered into the world when Adam disobeyed God. The result of his disobedience brought death into the world and separation from God. Sin then was passed down to all mankind with its results; death and separation from God. If left unsettled the result will be eternal destruction in the place called the Lake of Fire.
SALVATION
We believe that the Bible teaches that the only way for man to be saved from the ultimate result of sin was for God Himself to die on the cross for our sins. No one is good enough, smart enough, or strong enough to save themselves from the Lake of Fire. Therefore, by placing faith in Jesus Christ one receives grace and is forever secure even if he does not follow the word of God.
BAPTISM
We believe that the Bible teaches that baptism is an act of commitment to follow Jesus. Once a person is saved they need to learn what God desires for them to do and that is to commit their life to serve Him. Baptism does not save, but is the first act that demonstrates the commitment of a saved person.
CHURCH
We believe that the Bible teaches that the church is a local group of saved and baptized people who desire to follow the word of God. There are churches all over the world and each one is not perfect but is made perfect by Christ. These local churches are designed to create a community to love, encourage, and instruct each other in the word of God and to spread the teachings of the Bible to all.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit convicts all men of their need of salvation. The Holy Spirit then leads people to a place where they can learn, grow, and be used by Him to influence other people for Christ.
